Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software systems that power Uber’s rider and driver experiences

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers

Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance and reliability

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows engineering best practices

Debug production issues and implement solutions to minimize customer impact

Participate in code reviews and contribute to building a strong engineering culture

Take ownership of components and work independently while also being a team player

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring fresh ideas to the table

Requirements & Eligibility
Students graduating in 2024 or 2025 with a B.Tech, M.Tech, Integrated Dual Degree, or MSc in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, or related disciplines

Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design

Experience in programming using one or more languages like Go, Python, Java, C++, Ruby, etc.

Demonstrated practical experience through internships, coding competitions, open-source contributions, or projects

Interest in developing tools and infrastructure that scale to millions of users

Strong problem-solving mindset and a drive for writing clean, maintainable code

Eagerness to learn new technologies, take initiative, and work in a fast-moving environment
