RELX, a global leader in information and analytics, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Test Engineer I to join its team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the Quality Engineering strategy for the Health Markets division. Your primary focus will be on enhancing testing design and improving process standards with an emphasis on effectiveness and quick feedback-driven approaches. You will deliver focused testing with high-quality standards, ensuring the reliability and performance of software products.

As a Senior Quality Test Engineer I, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations, to plan and execute testing for the delivery of products and enhancements. Your expertise will contribute to the development and execution of automated and performance testing, enabling the successful delivery of high-quality software products and services.

Technical Skills:

Test Automation: Strong experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver and creating test automation frameworks.

Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and/or C++, with the ability to write and maintain test scripts.

Performance Testing: Experience in developing and executing performance tests to validate application scalability and performance.

API Testing: Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or ReadyAPI.

Database Testing: Strong SQL skills and experience with database testing.

Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

✅ Estimated Salary (Industry Standard)
Monthly Salary: ₹1,25,000 – ₹2,08,000
Annual CTC: ₹15 LPA – ₹25 LPA

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure high-quality software products. Conduct thorough testing of software products to identify and report any defects or issues. Automation and Performance Testing: Design and implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium WebDriver. Develop and execute performance tests to validate the scalability and performance of applications. Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide input on design and testing. Lead and mentor a team of quality test engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient testing processes. Process Improvement: Continuously drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the quality of software products. Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements or solutions to identified issues. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test processes, results, and findings. Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions. Tool Utilization: Utilize various testing tools and methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in software testing to incorporate into testing processes.
