Job Description:

As part of a cross-functional Scrum team, you’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and R&D teams to design, execute, and enhance automated testing frameworks that ensure seamless product performance and scalability.

In this position, you will work hands-on with both manual and automated testing, building sophisticated test suites for UI, API, and data validation. Your responsibilities will include developing reusable automation frameworks, validating system behavior, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. The role also emphasizes innovation, encouraging the use of AI tools for smarter testing and automation optimization. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to define, execute, and enhance automation strategies for new and existing product features.

• Design and develop robust test automation frameworks, libraries, and utilities using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, and JMeter.

• Build and execute comprehensive UI and API automation suites to validate system performance and functionality.

• Configure and maintain test environments with the latest product builds and dependencies.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration by embedding automated tests in Jenkins or similar tools.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and report software defects, ensuring effective resolution in collaboration with developers.

• Monitor QA effectiveness and identify process improvement opportunities across SDLC/STLC stages.

• Support customer and product teams by reproducing, analyzing, and resolving field issues.

• Maintain strong documentation of test cases, frameworks, and execution reports.

• Actively mentor junior team members and contribute to building a quality-driven engineering culture.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• 4–8 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.

• Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, and JMeter for automation testing.

• Solid programming knowledge in Java, Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.

• Understanding of API automation, test design, and framework development principles.

• Familiarity with GIT version control, CI/CD tools, and test infrastructure setup.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern test management systems.

• Strong grasp of testing concepts, defect lifecycle management, and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools is an added advantage.

Expected Salary:

The average salary for a QA Automation Tester at Quest Global in Bengaluru typically ranges between ₹8 LPA to ₹14 LPA, depending on experience, technical expertise, and project complexity. Exceptional candidates with advanced automation and API testing skills may receive higher compensation packages.
