Role Overview:
As an Automation Tester, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of healthcare software systems. You’ll work in an Agile environment alongside developers, QA engineers, and product owners to design and execute both manual and automated tests, ensuring that applications meet the highest quality standards.
This role blends technical expertise with problem-solving and attention to detail, ideal for professionals eager to make a difference in healthcare technology.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.

Create and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Squish.

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across applications.

Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and verify feature implementations.

Conduct Verification and Validation (V&V) of engineering applications — preferably in the healthcare domain.

Write detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation for test results and defect reports.

Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives).

Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issues.

Continuously learn and adapt to emerging testing technologies and frameworks.
Required Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Squish.

Strong knowledge of Automation Frameworks, Agile Testing, and Pipeline Testing.

Familiarity with manual testing and test management processes.

Experience with Linux and Windows environments.

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python or Java.

Understanding of defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in Healthcare/MedTech software testing or regulated environments (FDA, ISO standards).

Exposure to Verification & Validation (V&V) processes in engineering applications.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies and automation best practices.
