Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and validate hardware components for System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures, ensuring high performance and efficiency in modern electronic devices.
- Work on digital ASIC design, RF/analog circuits, and mixed-signal systems, contributing to the development of advanced semiconductor solutions.
- Perform detailed technical analysis and translate innovative ideas into hardware models, simulations, and real-world implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and system engineers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software systems.
- Conduct SoC validation, debugging, and testing to identify and resolve performance issues, ensuring reliability and quality of the final product.
- Utilize hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL for RTL design and verification processes.
- Work on low-power design techniques to optimize energy efficiency in embedded and mobile systems.
- Participate in board and FPGA design activities, contributing to prototyping and testing of hardware components.
- Support design for test (DFT) methodologies and ensure manufacturability and scalability of hardware solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in wireless communication, multimedia processing, and semiconductor design to drive innovation.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Associateβs or Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field with a strong academic background.
- Knowledge of hardware design concepts, including SoC architecture, digital design, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL, along with programming knowledge in C/C++ or scripting languages like Tcl, Perl, or Shell.
- Understanding of RTL design, verification methodologies, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Exposure to wireless or wired communication protocols, multimedia systems, or graphics processing is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of RF/Analog/Mixed Signal design concepts such as PLL, LNA, CMOS, ADC/DAC, and tools like Cadence or SpectreRF is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex engineering challenges systematically.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively within teams and across departments.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating initiative and independent thinking.
