Paytm: React JS Software Engineer

Paytm Money is hiring React JS Software Engineers to join its core product technology team. As one of India’s leading digital investment platforms, Paytm Money is revolutionizing how users manage wealth and investments. This role is perfect for front-end developers who have a strong grasp of React.js and modern JavaScript to build fast, scalable, and user-centric applications.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where collaboration with design, backend, and product teams is critical. Your primary focus will be to develop responsive and efficient web interfaces that ensure smooth performance, intuitive UX, and optimal accessibility across devices. From writing modular code to optimizing performance, you’ll be a key contributor in building impactful financial technology products.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js, JavaScript, and modern CSS libraries

• Design responsive, scalable, and modular UI components that enhance usability and accessibility

• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage asynchronous data fetching and state flows

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality features

• Follow coding standards, write reusable components, and adopt performance optimization techniques

• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues

• Stay updated with React ecosystem trends, tools, and best practices

• Contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and team knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirement & Eligibility

• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and deep knowledge of the React.js library

• Hands-on experience with React Hooks, functional components, and Context API for state management

• Proficiency with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Axios, Fetch, and asynchronous data workflows

• Solid understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and CSS frameworks

• Version control experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab workflows)

• Exposure to testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress is a plus

• Bonus points for experience with TypeScript and CI/CD automation tools

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in agile, fast-paced product teams

Expected Salary for this Role
💰 ₹10 LPA – ₹20 LPA (based on industry benchmarks, experience level, and insights from platforms like Glassdoor & AmbitionBox)
Compensation will depend on skillset, seniority (SE vs SSE), and location preference.
