Marvell Technology, a global leader in semiconductor solutions, is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer – Software Validation & Quality Assurance to join its Bengaluru-based team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of Marvell’s cutting-edge security products, particularly in the realm of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).

As a Staff Engineer in Software Validation & Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, designing scalable test automation frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate complex security features. Your expertise will directly contribute to the robustness of Marvell’s security offerings, which are integral to protecting data in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C.
Experience with test automation frameworks, particularly PyTest.
Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and protocols, including PKCS#11, JCE, OpenSSL, and payment algorithms.
Hands-on experience with Hardware Security Modules and related technologies.
Expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and problem isolation.

✅ Estimated Salary (Industry Standard)
Monthly Salary: ₹1,25,000 – ₹2,08,000

Annual CTC: ₹18 LPA – ₹25 LPA

Responsibilities
✅ Job Responsibilities As a Staff Engineer – Software Validation & Quality Assurance at Marvell Technology, your key responsibilities will include: Test Development: Design and develop test plans to validate payment and general-purpose features of HSM products. Automation Frameworks: Develop scalable and predictable test automation suites to enhance feature velocity and product reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Debugging and Analysis: Perform root cause analysis of test failures, isolate complex problems, and provide actionable insights to development teams. Cryptographic Testing: Validate cryptographic algorithms and protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as PKCS#11, JCE, and OpenSSL. Hardware Security Modules: Test and validate functionalities of HSMs, including those from vendors like Cavium/Marvell, Thales/SafeNet, Utimaco, HP, and Futurex. Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
