Job Description:
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is hiring an Associate Content Analyst to join its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data team in Bangalore. This role focuses on delivering high-quality financial and non-financial data that helps global clients assess corporate sustainability, performance, and risk. As part of a leading financial markets infrastructure and data provider, you will contribute to building reliable datasets that power investment decisions and market insights. This position is ideal for candidates who have a strong interest in research, data analysis, and sustainability-related information.
In this role, you will be responsible for researching company disclosures, financial filings, and public reports to extract ESG-related data accurately. You will ensure data quality, consistency, and timeliness while adhering to strict performance and quality standards. The position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex reports. You will also work with global teams and data providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality content to clients.
Additionally, this role offers opportunities to participate in special projects, improve data collection processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze company reports, filings, and official documents to extract ESG-related financial and non-financial data accurately.
- Manage database administration tasks, ensuring proper sourcing, updating, and maintenance of high-quality datasets.
- Deliver data outputs with high accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, meeting predefined productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated with evolving data collection policies, market developments, and ESG standards that impact data analysis.
- Collaborate with global teams and data providers to ensure seamless data collection and consistent delivery of insights.
- Resolve client queries efficiently, providing high-quality responses while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Identify data inconsistencies, escalate issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
- Suggest improvements to data collection tools, workflows, and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce client queries.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives focused on enhancing ESG datasets and analytical capabilities.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably with exposure to finance, economics, or data-related subjects.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex company reports and extract relevant data.
- Excellent reading comprehension skills to understand detailed documents and identify key information accurately.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
- High level of accountability, responsibility, and attention to detail in handling data and client requirements.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about ESG concepts, financial markets, and data analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of data management, databases, or financial analysis is an added advantage.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve queries and provide quality support.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
Expected Salary:
The expected salary for an Associate Content Analyst at LSEG in India typically ranges between ₹4 LPA to ₹8 LPA, depending on experience, analytical skills, and domain knowledge.
