Roles & Responsibilities

• End-to-End Deployment: Own enterprise client go-lives—translate requirements into scalable GenAI deployments, handling everything from scoping and coding to testing and release.

• Integration Development: Design and build RESTful APIs, event pipelines, and webhooks that connect LimeChat’s agents to external CRMs, ERPs, OMSs, and third-party platforms.

• GenAI Engineering: Create intelligent workflow pipelines using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and PGVector to orchestrate prompt chains, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and fine-tuning jobs.

• Infrastructure Management: Deploy and maintain systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools such as Terraform or Helm on AWS/GCP.

• Monitoring & Optimization: Analyze system latency, cost efficiency, and uptime through observability tools (Kibana, Grafana, etc.), ensuring uptime > 99.9 %.

• Documentation & Playbooks: Build reusable SDKs, deployment templates, and automation scripts that standardize integration and deployment processes.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Customer Success, and Platform teams to enhance scalability, extensibility, and client experience.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience: 1–3 years developing backend or integration solutions for SaaS or platform-based products.

• Programming Expertise: Proficient in Python or Node.js (FastAPI/Django/Express).

• Database Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) with the ability to write performant queries and migrations.

• DevOps & Cloud: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and at least one cloud provider (AWS or GCP).

• Version Control: Strong Git experience including code reviews, branching strategies, and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).

• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Proven ability to trace and isolate issues across microservices, logs, and network calls.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex systems for clients and teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with LLM/GenAI frameworks (LangChain, Haystack, LlamaIndex) and vector databases (PGVector, Pinecone).

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.

• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.

• Basic understanding of security compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and secrets management (Vault, AWS KMS).

Expected Salary

The expected salary range for Software Development Engineers at LimeChat is between ₹10 LPA – ₹20 LPA, depending on experience, technical depth, and familiarity with GenAI tools. Exceptional candidates demonstrating strong system design and cloud skills may receive higher packages with equity participation options.
