Job Description
As a Software Engineer I at Honeywell in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality C# code that powers innovative solutions across Honeywell’s automation, aerospace, and energy sectors. You will also engage with databases, create complex SQL queries, and leverage modern .NET technologies such as WPF, Web API, Entity Framework, and MVC 5.0. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain C# code for new and existing software modules.

2. Implement unit test cases to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.

3. Collaborate with other engineers to develop, extend, and improve existing products.

4. Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support software modules.

5. Perform thorough analysis of API changes in OSS libraries to ensure backward compatibility.

6. Work on database-related tasks, creating and optimizing complex SQL queries.

7. Conduct end-to-end upgrades of OSS libraries while ensuring no disruption to existing functionality.

8. Utilize WPF, Web API, Entity Framework, and MVC 5.0 for web application development.

9. Maintain version control and source code management using GitHub.

10. Independently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues while collaborating with the team.

11. Focus on delivering software solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction and usability.

12. Continuously improve skills and knowledge to adopt new technologies and best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 1–3 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET technologies.

3. Working knowledge of WPF, Web API, Entity Framework, Dependency Injection, and MVC 5.0.

4. Experience in designing and creating web applications with strong database skills.

5. Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.

6. Familiarity with source control/versioning systems, preferably GitHub.

7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

8. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
