Role Overview

Fime is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join its Service team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on the Payments and EMV domain, requiring strong technical knowledge of EMV specifications, APDU commands, and payment scheme coordination.

You will act as a technical expert, conduct EMV test sessions, produce detailed test reports, and engage directly with payment authorities and customers.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 EMV & Payment Testing

• Conduct EMV testing sessions aligned with Quality Assurance Plans.

• Analyze EMV test data and APDU command responses.

• Produce detailed and accurate test reports.

• Review and authorize test reports where required.

🔹 Technical Expertise & Support

• Provide remote and on-site debugging and consulting services.

• Act as technical point of contact for customers.

• Coordinate with payment schemes (Mastercard, Discover, RuPay, etc.).

• Support tool qualification and vendor coordination.

🔹 Standards & Compliance

• Work with ISO 17025, ISO 8583, and ISO 7816 standards.

• Participate in audit preparation and certification processes.

• Ensure adherence to Quality Systems and procedures.

🔹 Knowledge Sharing & Improvement

• Develop technical documentation and internal knowledge base.

• Deliver internal technical training sessions.

• Share insights and feedback to enhance service delivery.

• Participate in implementation of new services and projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the payment industry.

• Strong experience in EMV and payment domain.

• Deep knowledge of EMV APDU commands and response formats.

• Experience coordinating with payment schemes.

• Understanding of:

  • ISO 17025

  • ISO 8583

  • ISO 7816 standards

• Strong analytical, debugging, and reporting skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage task planning.

Expected Salary

For a Senior Test Analyst with EMV and payments domain expertise in Bengaluru, expected salary typically ranges between ₹15 LPA – ₹25 LPA, depending on technical depth, scheme exposure, and audit experience.
