This role is ideal for quality-focused professionals who want to strengthen software delivery standards while contributing to the overall stability and performance of enterprise applications, particularly those built on the Workfront platform.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with solution teams, platform leads, and project managers to understand architecture, business logic, and implementation patterns. You will also be responsible for creating structured test plans, executing test cases, and identifying defects with precision and clarity. The role demands strong communication, analytical thinking, and client-handling capabilities, as you will often interact with internal stakeholders, end users, and cross-functional delivery groups. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and delivery timelines.

This role gives you the opportunity to grow your expertise in Workfront, deepen your understanding of SDLC processes, and enhance your professional testing capabilities. You will gain exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies, participate in triage meetings, and contribute to continuous process improvements within the QA function. As part of Dentsu’s global delivery team, you will play a meaningful role in driving quality excellence across digital transformation projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, regression, and integration test cases for the Workfront platform, ensuring high-quality outputs across all release cycles.

  • Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities by collaborating closely with business users, PMs, and platform leads.

  • Create, maintain, and update detailed test cases, test coverage documentation, and execution status in Azure DevOps.

  • Log defects clearly, track them to closure, and participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize issues effectively.

  • Provide daily and weekly test summary reports, ensuring transparency and visibility of testing progress to stakeholders.

  • Conduct walkthroughs, demos, and clarifications with business teams, ensuring alignment on functionality and acceptance criteria.

  • Analyze Workfront change requests (CRs) and convert them into well-structured test cases and validation scenarios.

  • Participate in backlog refinement, test planning, and estimation sessions to support project delivery timelines.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth UAT execution and quicker issue resolution.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Functional Testing, specifically within the Workfront ecosystem.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, requirement analysis, test design, execution, reporting, and closure processes.

  • Practical knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience participating in various QA ceremonies.

  • Ability to design and execute manual test scripts for Workfront modules including Timesheets, Projects, Tasks, Portfolios, and Programs.

  • Experience in preparing test plans, performing regression cycles, and managing test coverage using Azure DevOps.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects, root causes, and potential business impacts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with business users, PMs, and technical teams.

  • Ability to conduct demos and walkthroughs to explain test progress, coverage, and validation results to stakeholders.

  • Experience raising and tracking bugs with the appropriate severity, priority, and classification.

  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and Java-based frameworks is an added advantage.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for a Test Analyst at Dentsu in Bangalore typically ranges between ₹8–12 LPA, depending on experience in Workfront testing, familiarity with QA processes, and overall technical proficiency.
