Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced automated test frameworks for distributed storage and data protection systems.

• Drive the end-to-end quality strategy for large-scale, high-availability software products and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, setting clear expectations and driving technical excellence within the QA team.

• Develop comprehensive test plans that cover clustering, resilience, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerance scenarios.

• Oversee the simulation of real-world enterprise workloads, stress testing, and chaos engineering to validate system robustness.

• Collaborate with software architects to embed testability into design decisions, ensuring smooth integration and release cycles.

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines by recommending improvements for faster feedback loops and more reliable releases.

• Conduct deep root cause analysis of production issues and guide teams on preventive measures and automation coverage.

• Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative testing tools and methodologies that improve efficiency.

• Partner with cross-functional teams across geographies to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, SDET, or QA automation, with a strong track record in distributed system testing.

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence cross-functional decision-making.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, GoLang, or similar languages with a strong focus on automation scripting and test framework development.

• System Knowledge: Deep understanding of distributed systems, clustering, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and networking fundamentals.

• Tools & Frameworks: Expertise with PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and other modern CI/CD tools.

• Domain Knowledge: Experience testing scale-out storage platforms such as Cohesity, Rubrik, NetApp, or EMC products is a strong plus.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments and knowledge of chaos testing or fault injection techniques.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication abilities, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.

Expected Salary
