Job Description

Dell Technologies is strengthening its Security & Resiliency Organization and is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to help build next-generation security automation solutions. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software development and cybersecurity, helping Dell integrate security controls into its CI/CD pipelines and ensure business applications remain secure at scale. Your work will directly contribute to making Dell’s products and infrastructure more secure, reliable, and resilient in today’s threat landscape.

This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about automation, loves solving complex problems, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement automated security solutions, build custom tools, and drive initiatives that embed security earlier in the software development lifecycle (SDL). Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated security solutions that integrate seamlessly into DevOps CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure as code.

• Implement, maintain, and enhance security automation tools and frameworks to reduce manual security testing efforts.

• Collaborate with product owners, software engineers, architects, and cloud infrastructure teams to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

• Develop secure, scalable, and reusable solutions for vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and risk assessments.

• Build REST APIs and web services that power automated workflows across the security ecosystem.

• Write and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes, workflows, and tool configurations to support knowledge sharing.

• Stay current with emerging security trends, frameworks, and tools, applying them to improve Dell’s security posture.

• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to secure coding practices, and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience: 4–8 years as a Full Stack Developer, Security Automation Engineer, or similar role with exposure to enterprise security practices.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or similar).

• API Development: Proven experience in designing, building, and consuming REST APIs for automation and integrations.

• Version Control: Hands-on experience with distributed code repositories like Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

• Data Engineering: Ability to design and implement data models, build ingestion pipelines, and process large-scale data sets for security insights.

• DevSecOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and security integration techniques to shift security left in the SDL.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement automation effectively.

• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of AI ethics, machine learning system design, and deep learning development is a plus for future-ready security solutions.

• Soft Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple geographies.

For a Full Stack Developer – Security Automation Engineering role at Dell Technologies in Bangalore, the typical salary range is around ₹20–32 LPA, depending on experience, skill set, and technical expertise.
