💼 What You’ll Do

As an SDE-I at Brightmoney, your impact will be immediate and far-reaching:

• Design and build backend systems using Django and Django Rest Framework

• Develop, train, and deploy ML models for production-ready, real-world financial applications

• Build high-performance APIs that power our web and mobile platforms

• Collaborate with product, design, and ML teams to develop, test, and ship features

• Take part in technical planning, project scoping, and roadmap discussions

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to best practices

• Contribute to technical documentation and participate in code reviews

🧠 What You Bring

• Strong experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework

• Solid foundation in data structures, OOP, and software engineering principles

• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models

• Understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL/MySQL), data pipelines, and optimization

• Familiarity with API design, data security, and performance tuning

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in backend development or relevant internships/projects
