In this role, you will be responsible for conducting advanced data analysis, building intuitive dashboards, and generating meaningful insights that directly influence business strategy. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and operational inefficiencies, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders.

2. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting systems using Tableau, Excel, and SQL to enable self-service insights.

3. Partner with internal teams to understand stakeholder requirements and map them to relevant data sources.

4. Provide end-to-end project execution, from planning to implementation, while assessing risks and ensuring system reliability.

5. Conduct advanced statistical analysis, regression modeling, forecasting, and machine learning experiments to solve real-world problems.

6. Support fraud detection and risk management by identifying new abuse patterns and recommending effective monitoring controls.

7. Collaborate with investigators by extracting and analyzing large-scale data to support case resolution.

8. Own and report headcount (HC) utilization and provide recommendations for efficient resource allocation and automation.

9. Work on high-priority cross-functional projects that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

10. Continuously improve reporting and monitoring frameworks to enhance Amazon’s ability to detect risks and optimize business processes.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field.

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.

3. Strong expertise in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, advanced formulas, power queries) with proven reporting skills.

4. Proficiency in Tableau or similar visualization tools to build impactful, data-driven dashboards.

5. Hands-on experience with SQL and large datasets for querying and data transformation.

6. Ability to define requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver insights that drive decisions.

7. Experience influencing stakeholders and providing business recommendations backed by solid data.

8. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics and modeling.

9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.

10. Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
