As a Software Development Engineer at Adobe, you will contribute to the development of integration tools that connect Adobe Analytics with AdCloud. You will design robust and scalable REST APIs, manage and optimize database structures, and work with big data tools such as Spark and Hadoop. This role requires technical proficiency, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

You will be expected to bring your experience in Python, Java, and SQL, combined with an understanding of modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, and agile methodologies. 🧩 Key Responsibilities

🔗 Backend Development & API Integration

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs that support seamless data exchange between Adobe Analytics and AdCloud.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into reliable backend systems.

🗄️ Database Management & Optimization

• Design database schemas using PostgreSQL and MySQL, and optimize queries for high performance and low latency.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing database operations to ensure stability and scalability.

🔍 Software Engineering & Architecture

• Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable backend systems using Java, Python, and Spark.

• Write clean, modular, and testable code adhering to Adobe’s engineering standards and best practices.

🛠️ Testing, Debugging & Deployment

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based infrastructure.

🤝 Team Collaboration

• Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and UX designers in an Agile environment.

• Proactively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Python, Java, and Spark.

• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Solid understanding of SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Familiarity with Hadoop or other distributed data processing platforms is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

• Comfortable working with version control tools like Git.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

💰 Estimated Salary & Compensation

• Monthly Salary: ₹90,000 – ₹1,50,000

• Annual CTC: ₹12 LPA – ₹20 LPA (based on experience, skillset, and performance)

Note: Compensation is indicative and may vary depending on negotiation, experience level, and internal Adobe pay bands.
