Technource is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring QA professionals to join as a QA Engineer Intern in Ahmedabad. As a QA Engineer Intern, you will be involved in testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that applications meet quality standards before deployment. You will work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to understand requirements, test application features, and validate user flows. This role focuses on manual testing practices, helping interns build a strong foundation in test case design, bug reporting, and quality assurance processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet defined requirements.

2. Identify, document, and report software defects with clear descriptions, screenshots, and steps to reproduce issues.

3. Create and execute test cases based on application requirements and user flows to ensure complete test coverage.

4. Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand features and validate application behavior.

5. Test different modules of applications across multiple domains such as e-commerce, fintech, and ERP systems.

6. Verify bug fixes and ensure that reported issues are resolved effectively without impacting existing functionality.

7. Participate in regression testing to ensure that new updates do not affect previously working features.

8. Maintain proper documentation of testing activities, test cases, and defect reports.

9. Learn and apply software testing methodologies and tools under the guidance of senior QA professionals.

10. Continuously improve testing skills by exploring new tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree or pursuing graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Basic understanding of software testing concepts including manual testing, test cases, bug reporting, and testing lifecycle.

3. Familiarity with web and mobile applications and an understanding of how different features and user flows work.

4. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and inconsistencies in applications.

5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills to understand application behavior and detect defects.

6. Basic knowledge of documentation practices for reporting bugs and maintaining test cases.

7. Good communication skills in English for interacting with development teams and documenting testing results.

8. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

9. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to project deliverables.

10. Strong interest in building a career in software testing and quality assurance.

Expected Salary

The stipend for QA Engineer Intern roles in India typically ranges between ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per month, depending on the organization and the candidate’s skill level.
