The role also involves integrating automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and TeamCity, ensuring continuous testing and faster release cycles in Agile environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks using Groovy, ensuring scalability, reusability, and efficiency in testing processes.
- Implement and enhance automation frameworks based on POM, Hybrid, and Keyword-driven approaches, aligning with industry best practices.
- Develop and execute automation scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing across complex enterprise systems.
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and TeamCity, enabling continuous testing and faster deployments.
- Perform backend validation and data handling using Groovy scripting, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket for managing automation code and ensuring proper versioning practices.
- Work with SQL/PL-SQL for database validation, including complex queries, joins, and data consistency checks.
- Use UNIX/Linux commands and scripting for test execution, environment setup, and troubleshooting issues.
- Continuously improve automation processes, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in software testing and automation concepts.
- 5–10 years of experience in QA and automation testing, with a strong focus on enterprise-level applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in Groovy scripting for test automation, including data handling and framework customization.
- Deep understanding of automation framework design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM), Hybrid, and Keyword-driven frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or TeamCity, ensuring seamless integration of automation workflows.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket, enabling efficient collaboration and code management.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Spock (preferred for Groovy-based testing).
- Working knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL for database testing, including writing complex queries and validations.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux commands and scripting, supporting automation execution and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
