Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber to ensure robust and reusable test coverage across applications.

• Perform continuous testing across functional, regression, API, and security layers to validate application stability throughout the development lifecycle.

• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to align testing activities with agile delivery goals.

• Collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify risks, and validate end-to-end functionality.

• Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and log detailed defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability, quality standards, and adherence to best practices across development teams.

• Monitor defect trends and testing metrics to provide actionable insights that support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support test data creation, environment setup, and configuration to enable smooth execution of automated and manual tests.

• Independently handle testing responsibilities while contributing ideas and solutions during team discussions and problem-solving sessions.

• Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements & Eligibility

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation using Selenium-based frameworks.

• Proficiency in Java programming, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient test automation code.

• Solid experience with Cucumber and BDD frameworks, enabling collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality assurance best practices.

• Experience in testing APIs and backend services to ensure data integrity, performance, and functional correctness.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, supporting collaborative development and test automation workflows.

• Ability to analyze application behavior, troubleshoot defects, and identify root causes efficiently.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional and distributed teams.

• Willingness to take ownership, work independently, and gradually grow into a subject matter expert role.

• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education, meeting Accenture’s educational eligibility criteria.
