Job Description

GoRoots is offering an exciting Full Stack Developer Internship for students and fresh graduates who want real-world exposure to modern web development and AI-powered applications. This internship focuses on building and scaling an AI-enabled appointment management system designed for the wellness, salon, and fitness industries.

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work hands-on with a Next.js-based application, collaborating closely with experienced developers to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and performance-driven solutions. This role provides a strong foundation in frontend, backend, APIs, and emerging AI technologies, making it ideal for candidates looking to kickstart a career in full stack development.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and enhance Next.js applications.

• Contribute to building an AI-enabled appointment booking system for wellness, salon, and fitness platforms.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across frontend and backend layers.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.

• Participate in code reviews and apply best practices for scalability and quality.

• Integrate APIs and third-party services, including social platform integrations.

• Assist in working with AI technologies such as LLMs and image processing (where applicable).

• Stay updated with the latest trends in full stack development, Next.js, and AI.

• Suggest innovative ideas to enhance user experience and product functionality.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong understanding of Full Stack Development concepts.

• Hands-on knowledge of Next.js.

• Familiarity with frontend and backend development workflows.

• Experience or exposure to API development and third-party integrations.

• Interest or exposure to AI technologies, LLMs, or image processing is a plus.

• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
