Job Description

Google is hiring Product Support Engineers (University Graduate – 2026) to join its gTech Ads team in Hyderabad. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, customer experience, and advertising products, offering graduates a unique opportunity to work directly with Google’s AI-driven advertising platforms at global scale.

As a Product Support Engineer, you will act as a trusted technical advisor for Google’s advertisers, agencies, and internal Sales teams. You’ll diagnose complex product and technical issues, analyze data to uncover root causes, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales partners to improve tools, workflows, and customer outcomes. This role is ideal for graduates who enjoy problem-solving, data analysis, customer interaction, and building scalable solutions that impact millions of users worldwide.


What You’ll Do

  • Apply deep product knowledge of Google’s AI-driven Ads solutions, including Performance Max, to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.

  • Deliver end-to-end technical support to advertisers, agencies, and Sales teams with a strong customer-first mindset.

  • Analyze data using SQL, dashboards, and analytics tools to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and implement automation tools for diagnostics and debugging to improve operational efficiency and resolution time.

  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve complex issues and continuously enhance customer journeys.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Contribute to knowledge management, operational improvements, account reviews, and product adoption initiatives.

  • Support customers across different time zones, including non-standard working hours, as required.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Experience with data analysis, SQL, and web technologies.

  • Willingness and ability to work non-standard working hours aligned with customer needs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business analysis, analytics, or dashboard development.

  • Exposure to technical product support, cloud support, quality engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

  • Familiarity with Google Ads or online advertising platforms and the digital media/tech ecosystem.

  • Experience in technical troubleshooting or customer-facing support roles.

  • Strong ability to solve problems and develop customer-focused tactical solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong customer-first, empathetic mindset with ownership of the complete customer experience.
