In this role, you will be deeply involved in defining and executing the overall testing strategy across complex, cloud-native systems. You will work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Automation-first thinking, strong Java-based testing expertise, and API validation skills are essential, as the platform relies heavily on continuous integration and deployment practices to support frequent and reliable releases.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive hands-on execution of the test strategy, including test planning, test case design, execution, analysis, and reporting.

• Provide strong product and business understanding to guide and enhance the overall testing approach.

• Design and implement technical testing solutions such as automation frameworks, API testing strategies, and test data provisioning.

• Maintain and enhance regression test packs, incorporating scenarios identified from production incidents and risk assessments.

• Analyze test results, log defects with clear documentation, coordinate fixes, and perform retesting to ensure resolution.

• Manage testing tasks at a project level to deliver outcomes within agreed timelines and quality expectations.

• Work within an Agile SDLC, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other QA professionals.

• Execute and maintain automated UI tests using Selenium WebDriver with Java for dynamic and complex applications.

• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured to validate backend services and integrations.

• Ensure automation suites integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery goals.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 7–10 years of experience across the full software testing lifecycle in enterprise or product-based environments.

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in QA automation for Java-based development or maintenance projects.

• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with deep understanding of handling dynamic elements and XPath strategies.

• Proven experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured.

• Advanced knowledge of Java programming for building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or GitHub Actions.

• Experience working in Agile development environments with continuous testing practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with a quality-first mindset.

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills to collaborate with global teams and clients.

• Experience in investment banking or financial services projects is a strong advantage.

Expected Salary
