Roles & Responsibilities

Create comprehensive test plans for design verification, system testing, and compliance validation across automotive software platforms.

Execute sanity, functional, stability, and performance test cycles to ensure high-quality and reliable software behavior.

Develop test system hardware and software components to support both automated and manual testing activities.

Collaborate with local leads and remote engineering teams to debug issues, validate new features, and improve test effectiveness.

Work closely with design engineers to analyze defects, troubleshoot system-level problems, and provide detailed feedback.

Interpret product requirements and domain specifications to design accurate and effective test scenarios.

Maintain organized test results, prepare detailed test reports, and present findings to engineering and management teams.

Log defects in tracking tools, follow up on resolutions, and support closure by coordinating with development teams.

Contribute to automation framework development using scripting (Python, Shell) to increase testing throughput.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, scalability, and coverage of test processes.
Requirements & Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

1–2 years of hands-on experience in embedded software testing, preferably in automotive or mobile ecosystems.

Strong exposure to Android, Linux, or QNX operating systems, along with a solid understanding of system-level testing.

Proven experience in end-to-end testing of embedded or automotive software platforms.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell, with exposure to C/C++/Java considered a plus.

Ability to analyze system logs, debug functional issues, and collaborate with distributed engineering teams.

Strong communication skills to work effectively across multiple time zones and cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with embedded frameworks, automotive testing techniques, and hardware-software integration concepts.

Ability to compile structured test documentation, track defects, and support regression cycles.
