Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust test automation frameworks for Web, API, and Kafka-based systems.

• Lead initiatives in performance testing, ensuring applications meet stringent speed and reliability benchmarks.

• Build and execute automation scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across distributed applications.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable execution during builds, deployments, and release cycles.

• Utilize Git for effective version control, ensuring structured branching, merging, and repository governance.

• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases to validate critical business functions.

• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with development teams for timely fixes.

• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on automation best practices, frameworks, and testing methodologies.

• Continuously improve automation tools, reduce execution time, and enhance framework reliability for long-term efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to influence architecture, API quality, and integration strategies.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, or equivalent in a technical discipline from a recognized university.

• Master’s degree such as M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, or equivalent is preferred for advanced testing leadership roles.

• 6+ years of experience in automation testing, with demonstrated expertise in Core Java, Selenium, and testing frameworks.

• Strong experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for microservices, web, and API-based applications.

• Hands-on understanding of Kafka, distributed systems, and asynchronous event-driven testing.

• Solid experience in performance testing using industry-standard tools and techniques.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and integrating tests within DevOps environments.

• Strong command of version control (Git) including branching strategies, code reviews, and repository management.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex system issues.

• Proven ability to mentor QA teams, manage testing processes, and lead end-to-end quality engineering initiatives.
