Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans and strategies based on project requirements, ensuring thorough coverage across web, mobile, API, and database components.

• Design, document, and maintain high-quality test cases to support functional, regression, and integration testing efforts.

• Build and manage automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and other industry-standard frameworks.

• Execute automation suites, analyze results, identify failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

• Perform comprehensive manual testing to validate functional behavior and uncover edge cases not covered by automation.

• Conduct API validation, ensuring accurate response structures, error handling, and integration stability across systems.

• Validate end-to-end functionality across browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure seamless customer experience.

• Build, integrate, and maintain CI pipelines that automate testing workflows for faster release cycles.

• Execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy, transformations, and backend integrity during testing cycles.

• Document test results, defects, findings, and improvements in a clear and structured manner.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, offering insights on quality assurance, risk analysis, and test estimations.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure complete understanding of system behavior and testing requirements.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Tech, BCA, or MCA from a recognized institution.

• Hands-on experience in test automation, with strong skills in tools like Selenium, Appium, or equivalent frameworks.

• Solid understanding of Java programming, object-oriented concepts, and clean coding practices.

• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Proficiency in validating APIs, analyzing responses, and testing integration points across microservices.

• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend testing, data validation, and consistency checks.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, preferably in fast-paced onshore–offshore delivery models.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation integration with tools like Jenkins and Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

• Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
