Job Description

Bosch is seeking a forward-thinking AI/ML Python Developer with a passion for building scalable, intelligent, and secure AI-driven systems. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and deploy Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions that power intelligent automation across industrial, automotive, and enterprise-grade use cases.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Python programming, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and GenAI frameworks such as LangChain and Semantic Kernel, along with hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research and innovation into production-ready, high-performance AI systems that adhere to Bosch’s quality and security standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• AI/GenAI Solution Design: Identify and implement frameworks, libraries, and tools for designing scalable AI and Generative AI systems—focusing on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector-based intelligence.

• Model Development: Develop and fine-tune AI/ML models using Python, ensuring smooth integration with enterprise systems and data pipelines (PostgreSQL, vector stores).

• Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct peer reviews, ensure adherence to software engineering standards, and maintain clean, maintainable, and reusable codebases.

• System Design & Architecture: Apply microservices principles to design and develop REST APIs, ensuring modularity, scalability, and fault tolerance.

• Testing & Validation: Write and execute unit tests; ensure code passes all quality gates and is free from linting or security vulnerabilities.

• Scalability & Performance: Build production-grade AI applications that are optimized for speed, scale, and resource efficiency.

• Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI research, reading papers and incorporating new methodologies to enhance product innovation.

• Collaboration & Compliance: Partner with product and architecture teams to ensure IP, data privacy, and open-source compliance across all deliverables.

• AI Orchestration: Utilize LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and related orchestration tools to manage and automate complex AI workflows.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BE/BTech).

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong programming experience with Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Proficiency in AI/ML tools and NLP techniques (transformers, embeddings, tokenization).

  • Hands-on experience developing GenAI solutions using frameworks like LangChain or Semantic Kernel.

  • Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and building microservices-based architectures.

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and vector databases (e.g., PGVector, Weaviate, Pinecone).

  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.

• Security & Quality:

  • Skilled in writing secure, lint-free, and performance-optimized code.

  • Experience in code review, testing automation, and static analysis tools.

• Innovation Mindset:

  • Ability to interpret new AI research and translate it into practical, production-ready workflows.

• Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to the automotive or industrial domain is an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with IP management and open-source governance policies.

Expected Salary

The expected salary for the AI/ML Python Developer role at Bosch Global Software Technologies typically ranges from ₹12 LPA to ₹22 LPA, depending on experience, proficiency in GenAI frameworks, and production-level ML deployment expertise.
