Job Description:

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software systems that power Mouser’s world-class distribution and logistics infrastructure. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that support millions of global transactions and ensure smooth warehouse control system operations.

As a WCS Developer, you will play a key role in designing innovative digital solutions, translating complex business requirements into efficient technical architectures, and ensuring software reliability across all production environments. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and architect high-performance computer programs supporting warehouse control systems and enterprise-level logistics platforms.

• Translate complex business and technical specifications into well-structured, maintainable software solutions.

• Develop, test, and deploy applications using modern programming languages such as Python, C, BASIC, HTML, and XML.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in production environments with thorough root cause analysis and timely corrective actions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of WCS systems with enterprise applications.

• Leverage object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and UML for clear and efficient design documentation.

• Optimize database interactions and manage data using SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), and multi-value database systems.

• Apply best practices in software design, testing, and security across the development lifecycle.

• Participate in agile sprints, contribute to code reviews, and promote a culture of technical excellence.

• Continuously explore and implement new technologies to improve automation, scalability, and efficiency.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• Proficiency in Python, C, BASIC, and experience with markup languages such as HTML and XML.

• Experience in database systems including SQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into software logic.

• Knowledge of UNIX systems preferred; familiarity with scripting and system-level programming is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to work effectively across global teams.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement efficient, scalable solutions.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and UML design principles.

• Enthusiasm for innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Expected Salary:
