Job Description:
Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in test & measurement, technology systems, and cybersecurity, is seeking a passionate Trainee Engineer (EPMS) to join its Project Management team in New Delhi. You will be a part of a dynamic engineering and services team responsible for deploying, testing, and maintaining advanced communication and intelligence systems across India.

As a Trainee Engineer, you will work on-site and in the field, engaging in critical activities such as system installation, integration testing, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP). You’ll play a vital role in supporting operations during warranty and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) phases, ensuring system reliability and optimal performance. The role demands technical curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, project management, and service functions. You’ll also participate in field trials and gain exposure to state-of-the-art signal intelligence technologies, radio wave propagation, and electronic warfare systems (ESM/ECM).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation, integration, and field operation of EPMS solutions across customer sites.

• Participate in system testing, ATP (Acceptance Test Procedures), and validation of deployed solutions.

• Support warranty and AMC phases, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining system performance.

• Collaborate with the Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Contribute to field trials and pilot deployments, documenting observations and improvements.

• Gain exposure to signal intelligence systems, including ESM (Electronic Support Measures) and ECM (Electronic Counter Measures).

• Support technical documentation, reports, and service records for ongoing projects.

• Participate in on-site training and demonstrations, assisting senior engineers and field staff.

• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and customers to ensure clarity and efficiency.

• Be willing to travel across India and internationally for project assignments and technical support.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or a related discipline with a strong academic record.

• 2025 batch graduates are preferred for this trainee role.

• Solid understanding of radio wave propagation, antennas, and communication systems fundamentals.

• Awareness or prior exposure to Signal Intelligence, ESM, and ECM systems will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical mindset, technical curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Excellent team collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.

• High personal integrity, discipline, and a growth-oriented mindset towards professional development.

• Willingness to engage in on-site and field assignments, including frequent travel within and outside India.

Expected Salary:
