Roles & Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript.

• Collaborate with agile teams to design, test, and deploy high-performing applications and APIs.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and peer learning sessions to enhance code quality.

• Develop and maintain customer-facing applications across web, Android, and iOS platforms.

• Contribute to data-driven projects, ensuring smooth data flow, validation, and system optimization.

• Assist in proof-of-concept development and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.

• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless user experiences.

• Document technical processes, solutions, and best practices for internal teams.

• Support integration of new technologies and frameworks to modernize Amex systems.

• Demonstrate accountability, innovation, and adherence to company values in every task.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or .NET.

• Knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms, and software development life cycles (SDLC).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a curiosity to explore new technologies and solutions.

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.

• Team-oriented with effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Passionate about innovation, with a “never-settle” attitude toward improving products and processes.

• Willingness to learn continuously and take ownership of assigned projects.

• Must be available for a 12-month apprenticeship, starting January 2026, in hybrid mode.

Expected Salary

The American Express Apprentice program offers a monthly stipend of ₹25,000, along with comprehensive employee benefits.
