Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and analyze software requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure completeness and testability.

• Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts tailored for complex enterprise applications.

• Execute and maintain automated regression test suites to validate new functionalities and bug fixes efficiently.

• Identify, record, and track software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.

• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple digital solutions and technology stacks.

• Coordinate with Agile teams to estimate, prioritize, and plan QA activities during each sprint or release cycle.

• Perform SQL-based data validation, scripting, and API-level automation to ensure end-to-end test coverage.

• Monitor testing progress, report key QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts, and provide status updates.

• Support continuous improvement by introducing new testing tools, techniques, and automation frameworks.

• Participate in debugging sessions, root cause analysis, and user training to enhance product reliability and adoption.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience: 5–8 years of experience in QA automation and functional testing, preferably within enterprise or consulting environments.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Selenium, TestNG, Jenkins, REST Assured, or equivalent open-source automation tools.

• Methodologies: Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum processes, with a solid understanding of QA lifecycle management.

• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in SQL, Java, or Python for test scripting and data validation.

• Testing Expertise: Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, test case design, and defect management processes.

• Performance & Security Testing: Exposure to tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or OWASP frameworks is an advantage.

• Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze root causes and propose sustainable fixes.

• Collaboration: Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional teamwork with global stakeholders.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Continuous Learning: Awareness of new automation trends, tools, and test strategies to keep QA practices future-ready.
