In this role, you’ll lead testing and verification initiatives across UI and API levels, working closely with cross-functional and international teams. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive automation strategy for regression testing, covering both UI and API levels.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to review designs and suggest testability improvements during early development phases.
• Utilize frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework to automate functional, integration, and system tests.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle — analysis, design, testing, and deployment — adhering to DevOps principles.
• Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools for continuous validation.
• Identify, propose, and implement new tools or technologies to enhance testing efficiency and team productivity.
• Conduct performance and load testing to validate scalability and system robustness under real-world conditions.
• Maintain high standards of test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting to ensure full transparency of results.
• Work collaboratively within cross-discipline and global teams, contributing to agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging testing technologies, and ABB quality standards to continuously refine best practices.


Requirements & Eligibility:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related engineering disciplines.
• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in test automation at component, integration, and system levels.
• Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript for automation scripting.
• Practical experience using automation frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
• Deep understanding of UI, API, and performance testing, including tools such as Postman, JMeter, or similar.
• Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and version control systems for CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with HTTP, HTTPS, REST, and SOAP protocols for communication between systems and applications.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, database scripting, and data validation for backend testing.
• Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices to ensure code reusability and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in agile, international, English-speaking teams.
