Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (_VOIS) is looking for a passionate Java Developer to join its growing Technology Shared Services team in Pune. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain enterprise-level software solutions that power Vodafone’s digital ecosystem across global markets. The position requires strong programming skills, deep understanding of microservices architecture, and hands-on experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using modern Java frameworks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.

• Implement microservices and RESTful APIs to ensure modular, scalable, and maintainable software architecture.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build, test, and deploy applications on cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines.

• Participate in code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and testers to translate requirements into technical specifications.

• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to coding standards.

• Apply agile and DevOps principles to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality assurance.

• Leverage containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for deployment automation.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by researching emerging technologies and sharing knowledge with peers.

• Maintain detailed technical documentation and actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

• 2–5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer in enterprise or cloud-based environments.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps for automated deployment workflows.

• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scalable deployment practices.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira or Confluence.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability to work in a dynamic global environment.
