This position demands both hands-on expertise in test automation and a strong analytical mindset. You will take ownership of test frameworks, create efficient automation scripts, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across APIs, web applications, and integrations. By leveraging your skills in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Grafana, you will help identify issues early and drive continuous improvement in the QA process. ORBCOMM provides a flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate onsite in Hyderabad while maintaining remote work balance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases based on detailed business requirements and technical specifications.

• Design robust automation scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing across multiple applications and platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional QA and development teams to establish consistent testing standards and best practices.

• Identify, analyze, and report defects clearly while ensuring timely resolutions and retesting.

• Work with APIs, integrations, and backend systems to verify end-to-end system functionality.

• Build and enhance automation frameworks using modern tools and scripting languages for continuous integration and deployment.

• Monitor and improve test coverage, reducing manual intervention and increasing automation efficiency.

• Contribute to performance and load testing efforts to ensure optimal product scalability and stability.

• Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to align QA activities with agile development cycles.

• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies to implement improvements.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• 2–6 years of proven experience in QA Automation, with expertise in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java.

• Proficiency in working with Selenium, Playwright, or similar UI testing frameworks.

• Experience in API testing, performance testing, and backend validation using SQL or PromQL.

• Strong understanding of binary data manipulation and complex data validation scenarios.

• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, and cloud-based testing environments.

• Familiarity with Grafana or other data visualization tools for monitoring and test analytics.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, thriving in fast-paced, agile teams.

• A continuous learner mindset with enthusiasm to explore new testing tools, frameworks, and technologies.
