Job Description
As a Principal Product Manager for Generative AI & Machine Learning at New Relic in Hyderabad, you will spearhead the vision and execution of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that transform observability and engineering workflows. You will manage priorities, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with business goals while securing buy-in from stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite executives. Roles & Responsibilities

1. Define and execute the strategy for New Relic’s generative AI and ML platform.

2. Lead the development and scaling of AI-driven features across observability, incident management, and CI/CD.

3. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and resource allocation.

4. Drive product vision, go-to-market strategy, and roadmap creation with clear prioritization.

5. Secure executive buy-in for high-risk, high-reward initiatives through effective communication and influence.

6. Translate complex technical challenges into actionable product plans for cross-functional teams.

7. Oversee product lifecycle from ideation, development, testing, deployment, to monetization.

8. Combine data-driven insights with user empathy to identify what features to ship and when.

9. Mentor and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals while fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment.

10. Continuously evaluate emerging AI/ML trends and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into products.

11. Ensure product decisions align with company vision, customer needs, and operational feasibility.

Requirements & Eligibility

1. 7+ years of experience in SaaS and cloud-based software product management.

2. 1–2 years of hands-on experience with AI and large language model (LLM) technologies.

3. Proven ability to define product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies.

4. Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain complex technical concepts concisely.

6. Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and translate them into actionable plans.

7. Demonstrated ownership, execution skills, and a track record of delivering impactful products.

8. Data-driven decision-making paired with strong user empathy.

9. Experience with multi-purpose generative AI assistants or observability tools is a plus.

10. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile, and innovative startup-like environment.

Expected Salary
For a Principal Product Manager at New Relic in Hyderabad with 7+ years of experience, the expected salary typically ranges between ₹35,00,000 – ₹55,00,000 per annum, depending on experience, expertise, and performance.
