ResMed’s engineering culture emphasizes continuous learning, creativity, and innovation, empowering you to bring your ideas to life while improving millions of lives around the world.

At ResMed, engineers don’t just write code β€” they create solutions that shape the future of healthcare. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with AI-assisted development tools, engage in paired programming, and contribute to real-world health technology platforms that bridge gaps between patients and care providers. This is more than a job; it’s a mission-driven career where technology meets purpose, and innovation translates directly into better health outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot to power ResMed’s digital healthcare platforms.

  • Contribute to the frontend development process using ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript for a seamless user experience.

  • Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

  • Build and deploy software using CI/CD best practices, focusing on automation and reliability in production environments.

  • Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and performance optimization to maintain high software quality standards.

  • Write unit and integration tests based on test-driven development (TDD) principles to ensure robust and reliable code.

  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to discuss design solutions, technical challenges, and architectural decisions.

  • Use AI tools for code generation, documentation, and refactoring to boost development efficiency and innovation.

  • Contribute to infrastructure automation through tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Document technical specifications clearly, ensuring effective communication across distributed engineering teams.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 0–3 years of professional experience in software development or related technical roles.

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with knowledge of OOP principles and modern frameworks.

  • Understanding of REST API design and web application architecture fundamentals.

  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for collaborative development.

  • Exposure to ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3 for frontend development is a plus.

  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is advantageous for cloud and infrastructure management.

  • Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases for building data-driven applications.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery pipelines.

  • A passion for learning, problem-solving, and using technology to make a tangible impact on people’s health and well-being.
