Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute the full software quality assurance cycle, including requirement analysis, design validation, test strategy creation, and automation implementation.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and suites to ensure high coverage and reliability.

• Plan, execute, and monitor test activities, including regression, performance, and stability testing for SAP database products.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across global locations to align testing standards and ensure seamless releases.

• Reproduce, analyze, and troubleshoot complex database engine issues raised by customers and internal stakeholders.

• Perform failure analysis of critical modules, ensuring system reliability and long-term product stability.

• Participate actively in Agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and collaborative improvements.

• Continuously enhance test processes and propose automation improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to design and test scalable cloud solutions.

• Provide detailed test estimates, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure timely delivery of quality outcomes.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Strong foundation in Software Quality Assurance principles and best practices, with proven hands-on experience in testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in Python automation, along with scripting skills in Shell, enabling the creation of scalable and maintainable test frameworks.

• Hands-on experience in Unix systems and working knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.

• Practical exposure to cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, with familiarity in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Git.

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment cycles.

• Prior experience in working with DBMS administration and testing environments.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with the capacity to handle complex technical challenges.

• Familiarity with bug tracking and version control tools such as Jira, Gerrit, and Git.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in global teams.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Tech/M.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
