Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and validate underwriting submission requests against standard guidelines, escalating exceptions for approval as needed.

  • Accurately update and maintain data within client systems following established SOPs and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure timely processing of tasks and adherence to SLAs for turnaround time and document quality.

  • Register new cases, update workflow systems, and send confirmations to stakeholders promptly.

  • Act as a liaison between underwriters, operations teams, and other business functions, delivering accurate information and resolving issues quickly.

  • Research and analyze issues using internal resources, providing timely resolution and updates.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending efficiency enhancements.

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions and documentation.

  • Contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions and training initiatives to ensure consistent process execution.

  • Demonstrate flexibility by working in varying shifts and adapting to changing business requirements throughout the year.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.

  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in operations, data entry, or insurance underwriting processes preferred.

  • Domain Knowledge: Exposure to property and casualty (P&C) insurance is advantageous.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word (intermediate level preferred).

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret data from multiple sources and ensure accuracy in system updates.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills to interact with stakeholders across regions.

  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced, global team environment.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong judgment and decision-making skills for handling exceptions and escalations.
