Job Description:
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a skilled and passionate Performance Testing Engineer to join its Quality Engineering & Testing practice. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure that enterprise applications meet the highest standards of scalability, stability, and responsiveness. You will work on performance validation across multiple domains, helping our global clients deliver seamless digital experiences to their users.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, and Gatling, as well as advanced monitoring solutions like AppDynamics and Dynatrace. You will be a key contributor in gathering Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), creating test plans, and performing end-to-end performance testing. Roles & Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) to design effective performance test plans and strategies.

Develop, configure, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, and Gatling.

Conduct end-to-end performance, load, stress, and scalability testing to ensure system stability under real-world conditions.

Use monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace to identify bottlenecks, resource usage issues, and performance anomalies.

Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams to troubleshoot performance issues and recommend optimizations.

Generate detailed performance reports with metrics such as response time, throughput, and error rates for stakeholders.

Ensure all performance tests are aligned with business goals and SLAs, focusing on scalability and reliability.

Participate in root cause analysis and suggest improvements to application design, database queries, and infrastructure.

Support automation of performance test cases and CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous performance validation.

Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in performance engineering.
Requirements & Eligibility:

Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

3β6 years of proven experience in performance testing, tuning, and engineering.

Hands-on expertise with JMeter, LoadRunner, and knowledge of NeoLoad and Gatling for advanced scenarios.

Experience using monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace to analyze application performance.

Strong understanding of performance testing concepts including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

Knowledge of scripting and parameterization for test automation.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for integrating performance tests into the delivery process.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes and propose solutions.

Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively in a global, distributed team environment.
Expected Salary:
