Job Description

As a QA Manager at Testing Society, you will take complete ownership of ensuring that high-quality, bug-free software is delivered to clients across web, mobile, and API platforms. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, creating a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks that align with business and project goals.

  • Drive manual testing for web, mobile, and API applications, covering functional, regression, performance, and security aspects.

  • Oversee automation initiatives using Selenium WebDriver and Python, ensuring test scripts are scalable, maintainable, and reusable.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into test scenarios and ensure end-to-end coverage.

  • Establish and enforce QA processes, documentation standards, and industry best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Monitor defect lifecycle from identification to resolution, ensuring accurate reporting and timely fixes.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and implement preventive measures to reduce recurrence.

  • Generate detailed QA metrics, dashboards, and reports to track quality trends and communicate results to leadership.

  • Stay updated with emerging QA tools, technologies, and trends to continuously enhance testing strategies.


Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3+ years in a team lead or managerial capacity.

  • Strong expertise in manual testing for web, mobile, and API applications with a focus on functional and regression testing.

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python for developing automation scripts and frameworks.

  • Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SOAP UI, ensuring robust validation of services.

  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.

  • Experience with Git for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD integration.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Preferred certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are a strong plus.

  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is desirable.
