Amazon India’s Fulfillment Center (FC) Operations team is hiring a Business Analyst (Business Intelligence Support Engineer) to strengthen its data-driven operations. Fulfillment Centers are the backbone of Amazon, ensuring that billions of units move efficiently to customers worldwide. In this role, you will build, monitor, and enhance data solutions that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The position requires strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and automation, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and deliver actionable insights. You will work closely with the Central ACES team to build decision-support tools, analyze defects, and design scalable platforms that improve business processes. Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and availability of data workflows, platforms, and infrastructure, ensuring 100% uptime.

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve trouble tickets related to FC operations data.

• Enhance and improve existing business intelligence solutions with minimal guidance.

• Take ownership of medium-complexity roadmap initiatives and solutions.

• Build and maintain decision-support processes to track and correct defects in real time.

• Fulfill data requirements of the Central ACES team, providing timely and accurate insights.

• Design and implement data models for critical projects and operations.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business-critical actions based on insights.

• Support automation and process improvements to optimize efficiency.

• Document technical solutions and share best practices across teams.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related).

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data analytics, automation, capacity planning, or business analysis.

• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, joins, and aggregation.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, reporting, and analysis).

• Hands-on experience with data mining tools such as SQL, SAS, or SPSS.

• Familiarity with Python or R for scripting and automation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operations environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-team interaction.

• Experience with Agile methods or BI support environments is a plus.
