Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end performance testing strategies for web, mobile, and backend systems to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Develop, customize, and maintain test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to simulate user behavior.

• Execute load, stress, spike, and endurance tests to validate system performance under different traffic conditions.

• Monitor and track application performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.

• Analyze test outcomes to identify potential bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and DevOps to resolve issues and enhance performance.

• Document test plans, execution steps, results, and recommendations in clear and professional reports.

• Integrate performance testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation and faster releases.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging tools in performance testing.

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill peers and promote a performance-driven culture.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Proven hands-on experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or Gatling.

• Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies including load, stress, spike, and soak testing.

• Solid understanding of system metrics such as CPU utilization, memory management, disk I/O, and network latency.

• Experience with monitoring and profiling tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics to track performance indicators.

• Ability to analyze logs and trace data to pinpoint root causes of performance degradation.

• Familiarity with integrating performance testing in Agile and DevOps environments.

• Good command of scripting languages to build and customize performance test scripts.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in performance testing or quality engineering are an added advantage.
