Amazon: FinOps Analyst – FinOps

Job Description:

Amazon is seeking a meticulous and proactive FinOps Analyst to join its Finance Shared Services team. As a FinOps Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of Accounts Payable and Receivable services for your assigned country or region. Your mission will be to deliver high-quality financial operations with great accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. You’ll work closely with business partners across finance and leadership teams, acting autonomously to resolve issues and continuously improve processing protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related fields. 0–1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting; internships count. amazon.jobs

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. amazon.jobs

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office tools. amazon.jobs

• Remarkable attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data handling. amazon.jobs

• Self-starter who can operate independently yet value collaboration. amazon.jobs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong academic focus on Finance or Accounting.

• Exposure to Oracle Financials systems. amazon.jobs

• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies, Lean projects, or Quality Circles. amazon.jobs

• Fast typing speed (25–30 wpm with ~90% accuracy) and strong written/verbal communication. amazon.jobs

• Up to 3 years of experience in relevant financial operations. amazon.jobs

Expected Salary:

For entry-level FinOps roles in finance operations in Bangalore, typical compensation packages range between ₹5 LPA and ₹8 LPA, depending on the candidate’s academic background, technical proficiency, and interview performance.
