Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automation for both low-level business functionality and mid-tier system integration testing.Glassdoor

2. Lead and own test streams—enhance automation packs and contribute to the test framework’s evolution.Glassdoor

3. Translate business requirements into clear test scenarios and cases with full traceability.Glassdoor

4. Prepare and manage test data for functional and integration test cycles.Glassdoor

5. Drive test execution, including regression and defect remediation cycles.Glassdoor

6. Consult with stakeholders to qualify and clarify requirements, identify gaps, and help ensure robust test coverage.Glassdoor

7. Document and report test results with precision, analyze outcomes, and maintain defect logs.Glassdoor

8. Identify risks and escalate issues promptly to relevant stakeholders, while also proposing procedural improvements.Glassdoor

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in automation testing—particularly in backend Java-based environments.Glassdoor

2. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with investment banking products like OTC Derivatives, Listed Derivatives, FX, Equity, and Fixed Income.Glassdoor

3. Technical Tools:

   • Automation frameworks using Java, Cucumber, and Git

   • Test management and tracking tools: JIRA, Zephyr

   • Querying and validation via SQL

4. Methodologies: Experience with Agile testing delivery, automation for both GUI and API layers.Glassdoor

   • Experience with Murex platform
