PTC – QA Technical Lead

Job Description:

As a QA Technical Lead at PTC, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your role will involve leading a team of QA engineers, developing and executing comprehensive test plans, and implementing automated testing strategies to enhance product quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify testing requirements and ensure that all aspects of the software meet the highest standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

• Advocate for best practices in quality assurance and promote a culture of quality within the organization.

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and technologies.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation and knowledge base.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
