Role Overview
As a QA Automation – Senior Consultant (Digital Solutions) at NTT DATA, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, scalability, and security of digital applications. The role requires designing test automation frameworks, developing robust test plans, executing automated suites, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers.
You will be responsible for end-to-end quality engineering across Agile teams, ensuring that client solutions meet global standards of reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical designs to create effective test strategies.

Design and execute detailed test plans, cases, and automation scripts using open-source tools.

Perform functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing across digital platforms.

Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure requirement coverage and system validation.

Track and document bugs, defects, and test results using industry-standard QA tools.

Develop automation frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integrations for continuous testing.

Conduct root cause analysis of non-conforming software and provide solutions.

Monitor and report QA metrics, including defect density and test coverage.

Stay up to date with emerging QA tools, test strategies, and automation practices.

Provide mentoring and support to junior QA engineers in automation practices.
Skills & Requirements
Core Qualifications:

Proven experience in QA automation and software development.

Strong expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Hands-on experience with open-source automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).

Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data validation.

Strong track record of writing and executing test plans and test cases.

Experience in Agile/Scrum-based environments.

Exposure to performance and security testing is an added advantage.
Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary Expectation
For Pune-based candidates, the salary range for this role is typically ₹15,00,000 – ₹22,00,000 per annum, depending on automation expertise, years of experience, and proficiency in open-source tools and Agile/DevOps practices.
