🎯 Role Overview

As a Testing Intermediate Analyst, you will own complex User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives and software quality assurance for critical applications. You will design and execute tests, analyze results, coordinate test teams, and drive process improvements—ensuring that our systems exceed business requirements and regulatory standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• UAT & Production Rollout: Plan, develop, and execute UAT test scripts; support seamless product deployments into production.

• Test Design & Execution: Create test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business and functional requirements; perform functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects; perform root‑cause analysis; validate fixes through retesting.

• Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate multiple testers across projects; report progress, metrics, and risks to stakeholders; document test results for audit and compliance.

• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks to boost test efficiency and coverage.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with project managers, developers, UAT professionals, and business users to clarify requirements and share test outcomes.

• Knowledge Sharing: Provide informal guidance to junior team members; participate in test strategy and risk assessment meetings.

✅ Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2–5 years in software testing within the Financial Services industry.

• Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and quality processes.

• Technical Tools: Familiar with defect‑tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), change management, and at least one automated regression testing tool.

• Analytical Thinking: Methodical problem‑solving approach; ability to make evaluative judgments based on factual data.

• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and database tools; specific languages depend on business area.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; diplomacy in exchanging complex or sensitive information.

• Risk & Compliance: Ability to assess operational risk, adhere to Citigroup policies, and escalate control issues transparently.
